The Aalto University School of Economics is the leading business school in Finland and offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees. Teaching is based on international high-quality research. The School is recognised for its close ties with the business world and offers its students and faculty an open, international atmosphere for learning and personal development.

This programme comprises: Fundamentals of Business Knowledge [Common Studies: 60 credits], together with a Major [60 credits] - in either Economics, Finance or Business Technology - and a Minor Elective [30 credits]. The programme is topped off with foreign language and communication studies.

Students choose their major during the second period of the spring semester of their first year of studies. The selection to the Major programmes is based on the student"s grades and credits in the courses of the Fundamentals of Business Knowledge that are taught during the first year.

At the same time as selecting their Major, students also choose the Minor option. The minor study options in English at HSE are: Business Technology, Economics, Finance, International Business Communication, Marketing and Quantitative Methods.

Students who successfully complete this programme have the right to progress to Aalto's world-ranked MSc in Economics & Business Administration
