Programme profile


Industrial engineers are 'intermediaries between two worlds'. Due to their broad training, both in engineering and scientific disciplines, as well as business and economics, they are able to solve complex, interdisciplinary defined problems with technical feasibility and commercially profitable solutions. This programme provides you with the skills and knowledge to fill these demanding roles.

Programme content


In the first semester, the foundation is set by teaching the basics of scientific engineering and business.

Building on this, core subjects are taught, such as Technical Purchasing, Innovation & Production Development Processes, Prodcution and Technical Marketing & Sales. In addition, subjects such as Conflict Management, Intercultural Management and Entrepreneurship are covered, together with a wide range of soft skills. The final touch to the knowledge and skills required to qualify to fill demanding roles industry is imparted through subjects such as Innovation & Technology Management, Project Management and General Management.

Students have a semester abroad or international internship in the third year.
