Founded 1n 1989, Blekinge University [BTH] is a young and innovative university. It offers study programmes and single subject courses at bachelor, masters and PhD levels. 8,000 students study at its five schools [of whom about half are full-time], including students of nearly 70 nationalities.
According to the university, the humanities, social sciences, management and health sciences are all integrated into an applied IT profile that enables technology and the humanities to develop in exciting new directions. It ranks highly as quality provider of education in Sweden and is very highly ranked globally for its Systems and Software Engineering programmes.

BTH has only a limited amount of accommodation and all students must apply for housing by themselves, usually through university recommended housing agencies Rent will be from €300 to €450 per month
