Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam was founded in 1880. It offers 120 English taught programmes at Bachelors, Masters and doctoral level. Ten faculties share one campus and cover a wide spectrum of business, law, science, arts, and medicine studies.Â
With more than 23,000 students, of which 3000 are international, the university conducts cutting-edge research into problems of major societal and scientific importance.
