In this programme , you will study in English in a multicultural group of students. Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences has more than 20 years of experience in training nurses using the English language.

Programme content


The studies consist of basic studies, professional studies, elective studies, a final project and supervised practical training. The focus is on clinical nursing, with which you will strengthen the clinical skills required in your future profession. This will show in your studies in the form of diversity and the opportunity to practice your manual skills in clinical laboratories and simulated learning environments. The curriculum includes Finnish language studies for international students, as fluency in Finnish is a key requirement in the practical training that forms a part of the studies and in working life.
