Programme profile


In this programme, students learn about the working environment, customers/clients, working methods and development of social services. A graduate student of social services can work for example as a social worker, an instructor, a kindergarten teacher or a project worker.

Programme content


In the first two years of the programme, students acquire basic vocational skills. In the third and fourth years, students progress through personal study plans. Studies may emphasise, for example: day care; child welfare; care of people with a disability; crisis management; substance abuse care, care of the elderly or support for immigrant.

Graduates can become qualified kindergarten teachers by completing 60 credits of studies in early childhood education and social pedagogy.
