Nice is located on the French Riviera, in Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur and has a population of approx 350,000.
Among its many attractions are its beautiful beaches, lovely seaside promenade, interesting museums and famous city landmarks. The city features several shopping centres so there is something for everyone. Nice also has numerous museums of all kinds including Musee Marc Chagall, Musee Matisse and Musee des Beaux-Arts Jules Cheret.
From grungy pubs to massive discos, the party scene in Nice rocks! Ground zero is undoubtedly the Old Town (Vieux Nice) where dancers are elbow to elbow on summer nights but there's also night action along the quays and in the streets that radiate out from avenue Jean Medecin.
