Stralsund is a medieval Town in northern Germany. The Altstadt (Old town) of Stralsund Germany which became UnESCO World Heritage in 2002, is effectively on its own island, surrounded by lakes and the Baltic Sea.
The very heart of Stralsund is Alter Markt (Old Market Square) with the 13th century Rathaus (Town Hall), famous for its distinctive arcades.
Stralsund is a great place to party in. The city boasts many bars, pubs and nightclubs. Some of clubs worth visiting include Lollipop, Brazil, Bar Harbor, Alte Brauerei and Bar Hemingway
