SSE Riga was founded in 1994. Since then more than 1,500 students have entered through the doors of the schoolﾒs Art noveau building., which currently hosts more than 400 students, enrolled in the B.Sc. and MBA programmes.
SSE was founded in 1909 on the initiative of Swedish business leaders, and the School has maintained close ties with the business community ever since. The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) is one of Europe's leading business schools, with very little dependence on government support, and close ties to the business community.In 1999, SSE became the first Swedish university to be fully accredited by EQUIS (The European Quality Improvement System).
