Programme profile
The first stage of this programme comprises a common programme of 3 semesters offering general basic, scientific- technological training in the four major basic sciences (physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics) and their corresponding technological fields (energy, matter, life and information technology). Students are then required to specialise in one of the following areas:
- Chemical Engineering
- Biochemical Engineering
- Electromechanical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
Students participate in "Engineering Experiences" which are true learning experiences spread across the entire programme. They are open and cross-disciplinary assignments that make you familiar with the engineering practice. You take on challenging projects in teams and hone your engineering and design skills.

Entry Requirements
Three A-Levels (inc.Maths another life science subject. A third life science preferred but not required.) and 3 GCSEs. BBB preferred
Six passes at Leaving Cert (inc 2 x H3)
H3 required in Maths and another science. A third life science preferred but not required.
